Hello blog readers!π
Today I will be sharing five wonderful fiction books that I have read for readers aged 9-13. These books will be a great read for bookworms who love amusing tales full of adventure.
The first book is called Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate. This book is about a boy named Jackson whose family does not have enough money. Jackson's imaginary friend, a cat named Crenshaw, has come back into Jackson's life to help him. As the story unfolds readers will discover how Jackson's family work through their problems and learn just how helpful friends can be.
The second book is called The True Blue Scouts of Sugar Man Swamp by Kathi Appelt. Readers will love two of the main characters who are funny little raccon brothers called Bingo and J'miah. These little raccons work hard at their jobs as Sugar Man Swamp Scouts. Then the readers will meet Chap, a boy who loves the swamp. But trouble is brewing. The landlord might kick Chap and his mother out and to make matters worse, the swamp may be destroyed! Readers will love reading about the funny antics of Bingo and J'miah Even though this book has 104 chapters ( yes I said 104 π²) they are short and easy to read through so don't worry!
The first book is called The Green Ember. This book is about two young rabbit siblings named Heather and Picket who learn that their world Natalia is under the opression of Morbin Blackhawk, a horrible hawk who wants to rule the rabbit kingdom. After learning this, Heather and Picket join the battle for freedom against Morbin Blackhawk. Readers will be hooked on every page as treachory, mystery and destiny all come toghether for an exciting finish. Note: this book and series may not be the ideal choice for some readers as there is a lot of violence.

Am sure these are great recommendations and I'll be sure to share them with my students! π Thank You!
